Cardboard cartons.

Like with your cardboard boxes, cartons can be re-used for storage, or simply placed in the yellow bin.

Carter

"With limited durability on their outer shells, these creatures can have a lengthy lifespan, or an incredibly short one. They don't do too well in overly moist environments."

Cardboard has some wonderful flexibility in todays packaging and child-craft-activity worlds. When you're done with this stuff, make sure the boxes/cartons aren't stained with food or other organic fluids and consider how it can be re-used around the house for storage or craft purposes, or see if a neighbour or friend needs some packing/moving boxes.

If your cardboard is contaminated with food organics, you can easily break it down in compost and turn it into worm food, or food for your food (natural fertiliser for your veggie garden). Some FOGO bins will take these too, but check with your local council.

Also note that the plastic inner lining in most cereal boxes shouldn't go out with the cardboard. This is a different material and should be general wasted.
