Brewie

Tea bags.

If no plastic lining and staples are present, teabags can go straight into composting (worm farms or FOGO).

Brewie

"Often found soaking itself in small portable hot tubs, these fragrant little fellas are relatively short lived, but prove to be excellent food for your local worm farms."

We all love a good cuppa, but we need to be sure that our little brewies are ending up in the right spot. While the organic material of teabags is good for compost, some of them are lined with plastic, or even have little staples to keep the tags on! Check the packaging of your teabag, and remove any staples before you try to feed the tea bag to your compost or worms - staples aren't a staple of anyones diet.
